we are a young, Toronto-based architecture and storytelling practice committed to building a better city, one project at a time.

Our work is highly collaborative and always starts with a conversation, working with our clients, stakeholders and consultants to understand the problem, ideate and evaluate potential strategies, and finally implement a solution that is beautiful, practical and long-lasting.

We are not afraid to propose out of the box solutions, pulling from our diverse backgrounds and experiences in architecture, writing, film, graphic design, and community engagement to find the scheme that best meets the brief—no matter the form it takes.

Underlying all our projects is a commitment to our core values of affordability, co-creation, sustainability, and the public good, believing each project can have an impact far beyond itself.  We sweat the details, but always keep the big picture in mind, and are not afraid to tackle complex situations that require creative approaches.

make good is led by Joël león and Kurtis Chen.
